The solid mahogany neck is carved to a fast SlimTaper profile reminiscent of Gibsons from the 60s and will fill out your fretting hand comfortably; while it's glued in deep-set, long-tenon neck/body joint continues a Gibson tradition of state of the art construction. Two Gibson P-90 single-coil pickups with genuine Alnico V magnets provide a snarling punch that Les Pauls and SGs are legendary for. You also get all of the familiar chrome Gibson hardware: the classic Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece combination give the Gibson SG Special 60s Tribute its sustain and resonance, and adjustable intonation.
